Get your hands dirty and volunteer with us!
In 2024, 583 volunteers gave over 2,500 hours.
Volunteers have been a vital part of the success of Growing Places Indy. Our volunteers help perform many tasks, including weeding, harvesting crops, seeding, removing debris, building, and more. Volunteer groups remain critical to the success of our Upick garden in White River State Park. Submit a volunteer request below.

Group Volunteer Opportunities
We are able to host groups at White River State Park for volunteering opportunities, depending on the time of year and workload on the farm. We will do our best to organize projects to accommodate groups of various sizes. If you’d like to bring a group to the farm, please submit the following form with your request.

Individual Volunteer Opportunities
We are pleased to direct individual volunteer interest to Helpings of Hope, now stewards of the Boner Fitness and Learning Center Gardens.
If you are a non-profit urban farm/garden in need of volunteers, we’d be happy to list you here. Send your volunteer contact information to info@growingplacesindy.org.
We will update this information when we are able to accommodate individual volunteers.
