SUMMARY:Farm Stand Move & Groove
DESCRIPTION:On Thursdays\, come and enjoy weekly Farm Stand Move & Groove classes! Designed to get your mind and body moving in ways that cultivate self-expression\, restoration\, moving emotions\, refreshing body\, mind and nervous system – whatever you need. Classes may include yoga\, dancing (free-form dance party\, Salsa\, or other styles)\, sound immersion experiences\, meditation\, and more! There is no set fee to participate\, though we welcome you to make a donation to GPI. \nThis class is “Breathe\, Rest\, Zen Repeat”\, led by Amanda Crecelius. Suitable for all levels.\nThis restorative yoga focuses on meditation\, deep breathing\, and relaxing yoga poses. This practice helps to reduce stress\, activate the rest/digest process\, release tension\, and creates a space to recognize our natural qualities of compassion for ourselves and for others. No prior yoga experience is necessary to participate in this session. Please bring a blanket and a pillow case to create a bolster for added support during this practice. Additional props such as a yoga mat\, mexican blanket\, blocks\, eye pillows are encouraged but not required. \nWhen: August 24\, 2023 from 4pm – 4:45pm \nWhere: Boner Fitness & Learning Center\, 727 N. DESCRIPTION:Growing Places Indy encourages Near Eastside residents and their families to make this a regular stop for their weekly vegetables!\n\n\nThe farm stand will have seasonal vegetables and herbs available for sale merely a few yards away from where they were grown. Talk about shopping local! Over the course of the summer\, shoppers will find a variety of greens\, peppers\, tomatoes\, squashes\, root vegetables and more.\n\n\n\n\nIn an effort to increase the accessibility of healthy food\, our farm stand will accept SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Fresh Bucks.\n\nWhen: Thursday\, August 24th from 4pm – 7pm\n\nWhere: 727 N Oriental Street\, Indianapolis\, IN 46201
