This class is designed for anyone who is interested in exploring meditation and pranayama (yogic breathing techniques). Both beginners and established practitioners are welcome. Pranayama is the core link of all yogic practice, and there are many different techniques. Each session explores different yogic breathing practices, specifically designed to enhance or moving a particular quality of energy in the body. Some energize, some calm, some equalize. Pranayama has many benefits from heart health, to improving focus, to building lung capacity, and more.
Each class also explores different meditation techniques, some of which include pranayama. Meditation is a meaningful and effective way to help release stress, relax and focus the mind in today’s hectic world. Meditation also helps to develop mental strength and focus, even in the face of challenges.
