The Indy Winter Farmers Market (IWFM) was founded in 2008 by Growing Places Indy Founder and Board Member, Laura Henderson. IWFM was created to provide an urban venue to directly connect farmers and producers to the community and foster personal relationships in the exchange of fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, baked goods, herbs and natural products while promoting access to local, healthy food for all.

The IWFM has three primary goals:

  1. To provide a venue for Indiana’s sustainably minded family farms and small batch food producers to connect to the community and grow their businesses.
  2. To create a fun and interactive environment to improve our community’s access to local, fresh and nutritious food.
  3. To provide an opportunity for individuals and local businesses in Indianapolis to invest in community wellness.

Location and Hours

The Indy Winter Farmers Market runs Saturdays from 9am to 12:30pm from November 11, 2017 through April 28, 2018. We are located in the Circle City Industrial Complex at 1125 E Brookside Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202 (NW corner of East 10th and Brookside Ave).

Transportation and Parking

Cars: Shoppers can enjoy free parking directly in front of the new market entrance. Once heading north on Brookside, take the first left for a cut out lot with limited spaces. If those are full, head a few feet more north on Brookside and use the lot on the right-hand side of the road. This lot has over 500 free parking spaces.

Bicyclists: Riding your bike to market? Lock your bike to one of the bike racks located outside the market.

Bus Riders: IndyGo Lines 10 and 21 make stops within walking distance to the Circle City Industrial Complex on Saturdays. Plan your route here.
